2023 Ceremony of certificate of commendation to Mrs. Bintou Kujabi Jallow, Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of The Gambia in Nagoya (22 April 2024)

Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of The Gambia in Nagoya, Mrs. Bintou Kujabi Jallow, was presented with the certificate of commendation by HEAmbassador Izawa, which was handed over to Mrs. Jallow on 22 April in Tokyo by Mr Horiuchi, Director-General of the African Affairs Department. 
Mrs. Jallow has been a volunteer in charge of passport and visa matters since the establishment of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of The Gambia in Nagoya in 2015, and thanks to her efforts, the Consulate was upgraded to a General Consulate in 2019. The award is presented in recognition of Mrs. Jallow's contribution to the development of Japan-Gambia relations.
