Presentation of credentials by Ambassador AKAMATSU to His Excellency Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia

On September 10, Ambassador Akamatsu presented his credentials to President Adama Barrow of The Republic of The Gambia.

Ambassador Akamatsu and President Barrow discussed wide-ranging cooperation on issues such as the recent TICAD9 in Yokohama, Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, strengthening food security, and the digitalization of education to support The Gambia's sustainable growth. They also confirmed the importance of the strong ties between Japan and The Gambia.
